AETNA Health Insurance

When an enrollee's authorized hours total sixty (60) or more each pay period, the enrollee is eligible for the NOWCC SEE Program Group Health Insurance Plan. There is no cost to the enrollee for this coverage.  The NOWCC benefits administrator, Infinisource will provide information about the plan's options.

After enrolling, Aetna will send your ID card. There is no coverage available for dependents under this plan.

Assurant Dental Insurance

All enrollees are eligible to participate in the Assurant Dental Care Plan even if not currently enrolled in the Aetna Health Care Plan. This benefit, available at a low cost through payroll deduction, offers you and your family the opportunity to have affordable dental care. There are no claim forms, no deductibles, no annual dollar maximums and no charges for most preventative services.

A primary dentist must be selected when you elect this coverage.

You may enroll in the dental plan during the open enrollment period once a year. Premiums are paid one month in advance and are deducted from the first paycheck of each month.

NOWCC benefits administrator, Infinisource, can provide you with information about the Dental Care Plan. After enrolling, Assurant will send your ID card.

COBRA

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) provides you and your dependent(s) (Dental only) the right to continue group health and dental care benefits when you become ineligible (i.e., separation or hours reduced to less than 60 per pay period) for coverage under the NOWCC SEE Program's group health and dental plans.

The NOWCC benefits administrator, Infinisource, will send you a packet containing information on how to elect continuation of coverage and the costs involved. You should receive this within fourteen (14) days after your date of ineligibility. If you do not, notify your NOWCC Field Office.
